Sally Burgess is one of the most accomplished country artists to leave New Zealand. She now resides in Nashville, Tennessee.

While in New Zealand, she became both N.Z.C.M.A COUNTRY MUSIC ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR and SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR. Winning both titles in the same year has never been done before or since. Sally was also named Country Music Recording Industry Awards ‘NEW FEMALE VOCALIST’, also in New Zealand.

Currently, Sally holds the titles of INTERNATIONAL FEMALE ENTERTAINER, FEMALE VOCALIST and ALBUM OF THE YEAR (North American Country Music Association, International) won in March 2002.

Sally was born in Tasmania and spent most of her life in New Zealand. She is a Registered Nurse and holds the equivalent of two nursing degrees. Her other interests are in consulting in Quality Improvement and Health and Safety.

Having entertained in Tamworth, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide (Australia), many places within New Zealand and on the Grand Old Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, Sally firmly believes that dreams do come true.
